She said, “At the bilateral meeting at the Presidential Villa, both presidents committed to reviving the Joint Permanent Ministerial Commission (JPMC), originally signed by both countries in 2021, as a vital platform for advancing their shared objectives.
“President Tinubu stated that Nigeria will seriously consider reciprocating in the spirit of Pan-Africanism.”

According to the minister, the two presidents also discussed the activation of pending Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) and exchanged ideas towards operationalising the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA).

“Both Nigeria and Rwanda have completed the ratification process and submitted their schedules of Tariff concessions, placing both nations at the forefront of AfCFTA implementation. President Tinubu also affirmed Nigeria’s commitment to South-South Cooperation through the Technical Aid Corps Scheme. There are 28 TAC volunteers currently serving in Rwanda’s universities,” she said.
