The Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper denied Ademola Lookman twice in the game.
The 24-year-old also stopped substitutes Moses Simon and Victor Osimhen from hitting their targets.
“Ntwari was incredible. His saves were crucial, and he gave us a chance to stay in the game,” Spittler told a press conference.
Rwanda has recorded two draws from two games in the qualifiers.
