The Vanuatu Trade Commission Ghana, in line with the agreement signed with the Republic of Rwanda during the IPADA Initiative in Lagos, Nigeria last year, has officially commenced the implementation phase of the AI Africa Project in Rwanda.

The meeting, which signified Rwanda’s strong commitment to digital transformation, was held with the Director General and leadership team of the Ministry of ICT and Innovation.

The discussions concluded with a clear and actionable roadmap to begin the nationwide training program. This initiative reflects Rwanda’s dedication to positioning itself as a continental leader in AI innovation, following its successful hosting of the AI Summit.

Ghana will deploy AI trainers under the leadership of the esteemed Lead Consultant, Dr. David King Boison a Marine Expert and accomplished AI strategist. The first batch of trainers is set to arrive in the coming months to commence this historic capacity-building program.

This partnership marks a significant milestone in Africa’s digital development and is a testament to the power of strategic collaboration among African nations in shaping the future of technology on the continent.
