H.E. WANG XUEKUN MEETS WITH SECRETARY GENERAL OF RPF-INKOTANYI

On May 5, H.E. Mr. Wang Xuekun, Chinese Ambassador to Rwanda, paid a courtesy call on Hon. Amb. Wellars Gasamagera, Secretary General of RPF-Inkotanyi at RPF Headquarter in Rusororo.

Amb. Wang first expressed his deep condolences and sincere sympathies to the families of those lost their lives due to the disasters caused by the recent heavy rains. He expressed solidarity with Rwandan people and believed Rwanda will overcome the difficulty soon.

He said, the Communist Party of China (CPC) and RPF-Inkotanyi, both as leading forces in the development of the countries, have profound friendship and keep frequent exchanges at different levels.

The Chinese side is willing to further deepen friendly exchanges with the Rwandan side, work together to actively implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, and inject more impetus into the development of China-Rwanda relations.

Hon. Gasamagera thanked Amb. Wang for expressing condolences, and thanked China for supporting Rwanda’s national development and standing with Rwanda in the past three decades. He said that the two countries, with similar goals and visions, have already become good brothers and sisters in all aspects.

The Rwandan side stays committed to developing relations with the CPC and China. He is willing to work together with Amb. Wang to deepen exchanges between the two parties, so as to promote the development of bilateral relations and foster a win-win relationship.
