The tax contribution underscores Choplife Gaming’s growing influence in Rwanda, supported by a regulatory environment that prioritises compliance, transparency, and sustainable growth.

In a statement shared on his official X (formerly Twitter) handle, Mr Eazi said he held talks with Rwanda’s gaming regulatory authority led by CG Rene Niwenshuti and his team to strengthen collaboration between operators and regulators.

“This progress is only possible because of a regulatory environment that fosters growth and partnership. We remain committed to operating at the highest standards of compliance and are excited about the future of our work in Rwanda,” Mr Eazi stated.

Since its entry into the Rwandan market, Choplife Gaming has positioned itself as a key player in the country’s expanding gaming sector.

The company’s contribution of over $11 million to government coffers reflects not only its commercial success but also its alignment with Rwanda’s push for increased revenue mobilisation and economic diversification.

The Rwandan government has maintained strict oversight of the gaming industry to ensure operators deliver on compliance and accountability while fostering an enabling business environment.

Beyond gaming, Mr Eazi continues to expand his business interests across multiple industries, from music and entertainment to technology and finance, consolidating his reputation as one of Africa’s most versatile entrepreneurs.

With Rwanda’s gaming market showing potential for further expansion, Choplife Gaming’s strong performance and adherence to regulatory standards could set the stage for increased investment, job creation, and deeper private–public collaboration.
