Dr Bill Kim prayer and blessing for KWIBUKA 30

Almighty God, as we gather here today in
to remember the solemn anniversary of the genocide
against the Tutsis in Rwanda,
we come before you with heavy hearts.

We lift up to you the families of the victims.
May you grant them strength and comfort.
Heal their wounds and fill their hearts
with your peace that passes all understanding.

Eternal God, we pray for the people of Rwanda,
especially for the great leader President Kagame,
that you may grant him wisdom,
guide him and direct him and use him in a mighty way.

Loving God,
as we remember and unite in your love,
we pray that your blessings may fill
the country of Rwanda
and renew hope for its people.

Father, we ask all this in Lord’s name.

Amen.
