RWANDA COACH PRAISES GOALKEEPER FOR STOPPING, LOOKMAN, OSIMHEN

Rwanda head coach Torsten Spittler has praised goalkeeper Fiacre Ntwari for his impressive performance in Amavubi’s 0-0 draw with Nigeria. Ntwari was in an inspiring form in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying encounter. By Mike Oyebola

The Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper denied Ademola Lookman twice in the game.

The 24-year-old also stopped substitutes Moses Simon and Victor Osimhen from hitting their targets.

“Ntwari was incredible. His saves were crucial, and he gave us a chance to stay in the game,” Spittler told a press conference.

Rwanda has recorded two draws from two games in the qualifiers.
