The President of the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF), Mr. Ahmad will this weekend visit Rwanda on his maiden three-day official visit since elected in office last year. By RNA

The CAF President’s visit was confirmed by Rwanda Football Federation (FERWAFA) President Mr. Nzamwita Vincent on Thursday following the climax of the two-day CAF Women’s Football Symposium in Morocco.
The CAF President Mr. Ahmad who will be accompanied by Communications Advisor Mr. Hédi Hamel is expected in Kigali on Saturday evening.
Mr. Ahmad who is in Kigali on the invitation of the African Union of Broadcasting (AUB) will be welcomed on by various high profile officials including the AUB Director General Cameroonian Gregoire Ndjaka.
On Sunday, the CAF President will pay a memorable visit to the Kigali Memorial Centre to pay tribute to the victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.
He will thereafter meet visit the headquarters of Rwanda Football Federation (FERWAFA) where he is scheduled to have a meeting with FERWAFA President Nzamwita.
On Monday, Ahmad will be a guest speaker at the Forum program organized by the African Union of Broadcasting which will be held in Kigali Convention Center.
This will be the first time that the President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) will be attending a meeting organised by African Union of Broadcasting.
On its plenary session of the AUB General Assembly due on Monday, Mr. Ahmad will address the sports rights and relations between CAF and AUB. Thereafter, he will address the media
The CAF delegation is expected to depart Kigali on Monday evening, March 12, 2018.
